Video Spotlight #5 The Last of the Dashkin

Sharing videos I managed to find scattered across the Internet.

This is the origin story of Bitey of Brackenwood. The video is made by Adam Phillips who also does some rather awesome work for some of D&D's comedic videos. Everyone should take a look at his work here:
He's simply an amazing animator and his world building has expanded in his different vids so go check those out.

I posted the Youtube video to get your attention but he needs the Newgrounds support since Youtube doesn't exactly make him any money.

This is Kylak signing out and jumping from couch cushion to couch cushion (the floor is lava). One day it will be tree to tree... in my dreams.

  1. I wonder what his next big project will be or if he'll just keep making these.

  2. Huh, I wonder too. I know I would love for him to continue the Brackenwood series, but if he also makes a new project, I'm totally cool with that.

  3. This series is quite complex. I like the undertones of family, acceptance, and good versus evil as part of our very nature.

Plus, the art style is quite interesting.

  4. So maybe that's something to discuss here. What do you think Adam could do with these recurring themes seen in his work to push our main character in an interesting direction?

Alternatively: What other themes do you think could be touched on and how?
