Video Spotlight #18 Red Box Ninjas

Sharing videos I managed to find scattered across the Internet.

This has been around the internet for awhile now but it demands your attention regardless. That's usually the case with most of these videos right?

You might remember Adam Phillips from a previous Video Spotlight: here.

The Red Box is a D&D product which makes an attempt at bridging the gap between older D&D editions and 4th edition without changing 4th edition in a way that would interfere with those who enjoy the newest edition. Think of it as PHB4 which happens to have alternate class features that cater to D&D fans of older editions.

The video itself gets me laughing every single time because I'm a giddy two year old. It's a clever mix of "ninja's playing D&D" with "problems that occur in some campaigns that players can relate to" all in rapid fire succession with an epic face palm at the end. It's topped off with some of Adam's best humor and some of his most fluid animation to date.

This is Kylak signing out with MANY dangers awaiting me on my journey. *kashink*

  1. That video is just too funny and pretty legit truth. Gotta say, DMs have it rough! So many things can go wrong just because the players chose the option the DM didn't want. Playing D&D with ninjas = don't do it.

I had no idea what the Red Box was, but now I know :D. Yay!

  2. It's so very true! It doesn't help when your ninja players metagame either.

And knowing is half the battle to get to your Paragon Path!

  3. Yeah! I need to up my game and like, get cracking on my character sheets and read the Player's Handbook to actually start learning how to use the sheet.

  4. I'll be here to help as always.
